When it comes to Seattle hotels, you’ll find no shortage of style or comfort. The Emerald City boasts some of the most charming accommodations in the Pacific Northwest, from first-class hotels in walking distance of Pike’s Place Market to luxury hotels on the Seattle Waterfront. The possibilities are endless, so whether it’s pet-friendly boutique hotels in downtown Seattle that you’re after or business-friendly hotels near the airport, you’re sure to find some that cater to your specific taste.
Best Rooms: The hotel is surrounded by the buildings, you won't find much in the way of views.
Best Rooms: Most views are obstructed by surrounding buildings; however, rooms facing Spring St. may offer a better view.
Best Rooms: The Waterfront rooms provide the best views of Elliott Bay, especially from higher floors. If you book a Elliot Bay View room, be sure to request one that's looking straight at the bay, because there are many rooms in this category that don't actually provide a good view of the bay.
Best Rooms: For great views of the iconic Space Needle, consider the *09 rooms on floors 19 - 24 (e.g. 1909, 2309). The *07 rooms on floors 19 - 26 (e.g. 1907, 2207, 2607) also offer wonderful Space Needle views. On a clear day, the *20 rooms on floors 18 - 24 offer views of Mt. Rainier, as well as partial views of Puget Sound. If a view is important to you, you may want to consider booking a room other than the ones numbered *10, on floors 4 - 12 (e.g. 410, 910, 1110).
Best Rooms: Most rooms don't have an expansive view because of the surrounding buildings. Floor 20 is the highest floor and has the best views, facing north.
Best Rooms: All rooms offer city views, but to minimize obstruction from tall buildings nearby, request a room overlooking the Green Roof side of the building, above at least floor 9.
