4 star hotel
Area: Financial District
0.21 mi from The Beat Museum
Best Rooms: For the best view of the bay, as well as of Coit Tower and the Bay Bridge, be sure to book a Bay View room. Ask for one that has a balcony, so you can really experience the views. These rooms exist even on the highest floor, alongside the uber-expensive suites, so they're quite a steal.
Best Rooms: The hotel is only 7 stories tall, so you won't find much in the way of views. However, some of the King rooms facing Bush Street offer views of Chinatown.
Best Rooms: There isn't too much in the way of views, as the hotel is surrounded by buildings, but rooms facing Bush St. on floors 2 - 8 are your best bet for views of the city.
Best Rooms: Rooms ending in *20 through *30 (e.g. 1520, 1625, 1730) offer views of the bay. Keep in mind, however, that the hotel is angled. Rooms with balconies offer you the ability to step out and get a better view of the bay. The Regency Club levels are on floors 16 - 17.
Best Rooms: Royal Court King rooms, on floors 10 - 12, offer great views overlooking the city and all the way up to Nob Hill, while Corner View room types offer the best views of Union Square and Nob Hill.
