Best Rooms: When it comes to views, nothing beats the Park View rooms. Park View rooms come in a variety of room categories and all offer panoramic views of Central Park. City View rooms all offer a nice view of the Manhattan skyline, but these are not as popular as the Park View rooms. Executive rooms are about the same size as Deluxe rooms, but they're located on higher floors and therefore provide better views.
Best Rooms: If you're looking for a view of Central Park, be sure to request a room above floor 7, because some of the trees across the street can block the views from lower floors. Parkview Deluxe Rooms are the best option for a view of Central Park because they're located on the higher floors (12 and higher). If you'd like to stay in a suite, Deluxe Parkview Suites and Premier Parkview Suites both provide views of Central Park. All rooms and suites with a view are non-smoking and have 1 king bed. There aren't any rooms with double beds that offer views.
Best Rooms: The hotel only has 17 floors so there isn't much offered in the way of views, but most guests prefer a room on a higher floor facing Lexington Avenue. If you can spring for it, the two Skyloft Suites have wraparound terraces that offer incredible city views as well.
Best Rooms: Rooms face either Park Avenue or 61st Street; the former offers a better view. Most rooms on Park Avenue are the larger One Bedroom or Two Bedroom Suites. There are only a few standard rooms facing this street.

Also, lots of guests tend to prefer rooms that face the East River; these rooms are available in almost every category.
