Best Rooms: The 3 Bedroom Suites have the best views from higher floors because they face many different direction and offer panoramic cityscape views and views of the East River. If you're just looking for a Studio or a 1 Bedroom Suite, request the highest floor possible for the best city view.
Best Rooms: The front side of the hotel along 64th St. offers better views of the city, especially from floors 11 & 12.
Best Rooms: Penthouse rooms have the best views, which are of the city, the Queensboro Bridge and the Empire State Building; these rooms are also less expensive than the suites.
Best Rooms: The hotel only has 17 floors so there isn't much offered in the way of views, but most guests prefer a room on a higher floor facing Lexington Avenue. If you can spring for it, the two Skyloft Suites have wraparound terraces that offer incredible city views as well.
Best Rooms: Park View Rooms offer the best views, which are of Central Park. There are only two of them: one located on floor 2 and the other on floor 12. However, these must be directly through the hotel.
Best Rooms: If you're looking for a view of Central Park, be sure to request a room above floor 7, because some of the trees across the street can block the views from lower floors. Parkview Deluxe Rooms are the best option for a view of Central Park because they're located on the higher floors (12 and higher). If you'd like to stay in a suite, Deluxe Parkview Suites and Premier Parkview Suites both provide views of Central Park. All rooms and suites with a view are non-smoking and have 1 king bed. There aren't any rooms with double beds that offer views.
Best Rooms: Booking a Grand Luxe Room guarantees you a city view, because these face 5th Ave. and are located on the higher floors; these are also the largest studio rooms. Junior Suites are located on the corners of the hotel, where you'll be able to see 5th Ave. and either 55th or 54th St.
