Our take on Hotel Deca - A Noble House Hotel

Built in the middle of art deco's popularity, Hotel Deca originally opened in 1931 as the Edmond Meany Hotel. The hotel's style shifted throughout 75 years of renovations and refurbishments, and now blends the art deco movement with modern-day amenities throughout its 16 floors. In Edmond Meany's days, radio was the everyday man's form of entertainment. Today, we can't live without our iPods, and at Hotel Deca, you won't have to: rooms are equipped with iPod docking stations, clock radios and DVD players. Every room also offers panoramic views of either downtown or the surrounding lakes and mountains. The hotel is located in Seattle's University District, where Meany was a professor of note at the University of Washington, and where you'll find bookstores, museums, vintage clothing shops, coffee shops and more. So whether you're dodging Seattle's inevitable raindrops or out sampling everything the Emerald City has to offer, your artsy room will be waiting for you with open arms.
