Our take on Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina

The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina probably isn't what pops into your head when you think of an airport hotel -- that is, unless, you had a harbor location complete with picturesque sailboats and yachts in mind. It's hard to believe that the airport is barely minutes away, as this hotel feels more like a remote resort: three pools, tennis courts, a spa and fitness center will surely make you forget about your awful and cramped plane ride. The rooms here mimic the blues of the water outside, featuring private balconies from which to enjoy the marina views, Sheraton's signature Sweet Sleeper beds and coffee makers. Dining options are varied and plentiful, so there's no chance you'll get on a plane (or on the road) without a good meal. With so much to be experienced at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, the hardest part may be forcing yourself to leave to catch your flight.
