Our take on The Westin Phoenix Downtown

Having opened in 2011, The Westin Phoenix Downtown is certainly shiny and new. Its convenient location puts guests at the center of all the fun attractions of the entertainment district and to all of the important companies of the business district. Once you step into one of its 242 guest rooms, you'll be transported into the quiet tranquility that waits behind every door. As you wake up each morning and open the drapes of your room's floor-to-ceiling windows, you'll come to appreciate Phoenix's nickname, Valley of the Sun. Enjoy modern and luxurious amenities such as a Heavenly Bed, 250-thread count sheets, deluxe bath products and 24-hour room service. After a long day of exploring the city or attending meetings, come back to the hotel and use the fitness center to blow off some steam. You can cap your evening off with a nice glass of wine at the Province Lounge and then turn in for the night –- you'll need your energy if you want to see all of Phoenix's most popular attractions.

There are no buildings to obstruct the view from the north side of the building, where the best view of the mountains and desert can be seen from floors 10 - 31, facing E. Taylor St., from odd-numbered rooms *01 - *45 (e.g. 1003, 1725, 2909). The south side of the building facing E. Van Buren St. has nice views of the downtown area from even-numbered rooms *02 - *36 on floors 20 - 31 (e.g. 2006, 2312, 2736); this view is best when there's a Diamondbacks baseball game and you can see a great view of the fireworks show at night.
