Our take on Luxor Hotel and Casino

Walk like an Egyptian to the pyramid shaped hotel, more commonly known as the Luxor. There's no mystery to uncovering the luxury here -- it's evident at every turn. You don't need to know how to read hieroglyphics to understand that the rooms at the Luxor are anything but tomb-like. Yet, a hint of ancient Egypt is uncovered in the decor, where you'll find a triangular shaped lamp or wall design in some rooms, or fabrics that evoke the stories told on the walls of the pyramids. Some rooms have a view of the atrium, while others the shining lights of the Strip. Some bathrooms are equipped with separate oversized shower and tub, plus a lighted make-up mirror to make sure your Egyptian eyeliner is drawn on properly. Roomy armoires provide more storage space than the pharaoh and his queen could desire.
