Our take on Dana Hotel and Spa

Built from the ground up and opened in 2008, the Dana Hotel & Spa is one of Chicago's newest and chicest boutique hotels. Offering an urbane and contemporary alternative to other downtown boutique hotels, the hotel has received a number of accolades since its opening for its service, luxury and spa. The decor screams (more like, softly whispers) zen, tranquility and harmony, and it's no surprise that guest rooms have names like the "Nirvana Suite" and "Divine Double." Floor-to-ceiling windows and in-room wine reserves, as well as a renowned spa offering a bevy of luxurious services, are just a few of the amenities that set the Dana Hotel apart from other downtown properties. Say it with us: om.

Insider Tips on the Best Rooms at this Hotel

Quiet Rooms

Since King Corners are farthest from the elevators, they're also the quietest rooms, on any floor.

Rooms with a View

King Corner rooms are recommended for guests looking for the best city views, as the views from most other rooms are blocked by surrounding buildings. Rooms ending in *15 (e.g. 715, 815, 915) are Comfy Kings located on the corners, so they also offer city views on floors 15 and above.

Oversized Rooms

None of the guest rooms are oversized.
