Our take on Melia Orlando Suite Hotel at Celebration
An all-suite hotel named for Leonardo DaVinci's famous portrait sitter, the Mona Lisa Suite Hotel opened its doors in 2008 for Orlando travelers looking for a more refined hotel experience. With less than 250 accommodations, the property's a modest size when compared to the area's super resorts, but it easily stacks up to the services provided at those larger establishments. Its two restaurants, Stone Hearth Oven , which serves international dishes like jerk blackened Shrimp and beef osso buco, and Eden KItchen with its own innovative cuisine, mean guests don't have to be stuck with run-of-the-mill dining options. The hotel has luxuriously appointed guest rooms outfitted with Wi-Fi, plasma TVs, kitchens with stainless steel appliances and furnished balconies. The hotel's circular pool is a distinct departure from the typical pool area, and on the island in the center, guests sunbathe on a select number of loungers beneath towering palm trees.
