Our take on The Lenox Hotel Boston

This property easily settles the battle between your inner treehugger and discriminating consumer, by combining green ethics with understated luxury. Well-regarded for its solid service, a central location and loads of freebies (rubber ducky, anyone?), it's easy to see why The Lenox Hotel was selected for Travel and Leisure Magazine's "World's Best Hotels" list for 2010. Rooms are well-outfitted, with rich mahogany furniture, Aveda toiletries, and flatscreen TVs; some rooms even feature wood-burning fireplaces, which add to the sense of coziness in this hotel. Like Judy Garland, who stayed in suite 423 for several months back in 1965, you'll realize that you're not in "Kansas" anymore...but that won't be a bad thing, as you may not actually want to leave this hotel.
