Our take on The Bostonian Boston

Location, location, location! A stone's throw away from the New England Aquarium, Quincy Market, and the Freedom Trail, the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston exudes a polished and understated elegance unique to many of its cohorts in the four star bracket, who never met a piece of marble or gold they didn't like. Plush details emphasizing comfort can be found in both the rooms as well as the bathrooms. With the exception of the standard rooms, all rooms offer balconies for prime people-watching, with some offering fireplaces for more private indulgences. However, all rooms feature flatscreen TVs, two phone lines and beds you can really sink into after a long day -- and what's better than that?

Insider Tips on the Best Rooms at this Hotel

Quiet Rooms

The hotel is located near lots of restaurants and bars, which could be a great thing when you're hungry or thirsty, but a bad thing if you're trying to sleep. When the bars let out at 2 a.m., things could get a bit noisy. For a quieter stay, try to get up to at least floor 7. Rooms facing Blackstone St. could be more prone to noise when the fruit vendors at Quincy Market set up during the weekends.

Rooms with a View

For the best views of Faneuil Hall, try to get up to at least floor 7. In particular, the best rooms are 735 (which has a fireplace), 741 and 742.

Oversized Rooms

For a decadent stay, consider one of the penthouse suites, as they're very spacious, with big balconies, and feature all-glass walls.
