Our take on Marriott Vacation Club Pulse at Custom House, Boston
Amid the skyscrapers dotting the Boston skyline sits an elegant, triangular clock tower. This structure -- built in 1847 as a custom house to regulate the harbor's import and export activities -- is now a Marriott property that offers a lot more than just accommodations. The digs are pretty sweet, especially for families, since 650 square-foot rooms can house up to four. But even better are the views from various places within the property; rooms above the 7th floor overlook the city, while the building's top floor offers an observation deck with sweeping bird's-eye views. And speaking of birds, check check the web cam that tracks the activity of the Peregrine falcon family nested in the hotel's clock tower. And when the little ones have seen enough of the city and urban nature, send them to the 24th floor where a game room will be the refuge they're looking for.
