Our take on Beverly Wilshire - Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel

Ever since it opened its luxurious doors in the late 1920, the Beverly Wilshire Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel, has been an icon of opulence and class even amongst the city's bevy of high-end properties. While many other notable Beverly Hills hotels are often so exclusive (and snobby) that it's nearly impossible for the typical tourist to land a room, the staff and service here aim to make every guest feel like they're a part of the A-List, as well. Its nearly 400 guest rooms and suites are housed in two wings: the original Wilshire Wing and the 14-story Beverly Wing, which is where the hotel's spa, fitness center and pool are located. While Wilshire Wing rooms (try to say that five times fast!) feature classic European decor, the rooms of the newer Beverly Wing have a more contemporary feel, but that's just about as far as the differences go. All accommodations, regardless of location or room-type, have amazingly comfortable beds, large marble bathrooms and flat-screen TVs with DVD players.

Insider Tips on the Best Rooms at this Hotel

Quiet Rooms

Request a room facing the hills if you're a light sleeper; this way you'll be less likely to hear any noise from the area.

Rooms with a View

Rooms facing north in the Beverly Wing have great views of Rodeo Dr. Rooms on floors 11 and higher that face south in the Beverly Wing have great views of the hills; this is particularly true of rooms on floor 12.

Oversized Rooms

The Wilshire Wing is older than the Beverly Wing, however, the Premier Studio Suites and the One-Bedroom Suites in the Wilshire Wing are larger than those in the Beverly Wing. The Corner Suites in the Wilshire Wing ending *17 and *07 (e.g. 1117, 1207) are the best rooms to request, because they're the most spacious -- these will obviously run you extra.
