Reality Check-In: Hotels Featured on Reality Shows

Hilton Bentley (Miami): Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami
When two of the Kardashian sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, took their dog and pony show to Miami, the Hilton Bentley in Miami Beach served as their home base. Aside from a prime location in the upscale SoFi (South of Fifth) neighborhood, the hotel boasts plenty of amenities, including: a spa featuring organic products, a hair salon for the well-heeled of Miami Beach, and a restaurant run by celebrity chef and James Beard Foundation award nominee, Douglas Rodriguez. Rooms at the Hilton Bentley offer stunning ocean views – the kind you can only get when the beach is just steps away. Moreover, they’re outfitted in European furniture specially designed for the hotel, with liberal usage of Italian marble throughout, and also feature gourmet kitchens or kitchenettes.

The Metropole Hotel South Beach (Miami): Jersey Shore Miami
When everybody’s favorite Jersey kids moved south for the winter, bringing their GTL to MIA, you might have heard a collective “Ay dios mio” from the locals. Nevertheless, the Jersey Shore cast certainly left their mark in Miami, with the Metropole Hotel South Beach serving as their shore away from shore. At this hotel, you can enjoy a stay in a one or two bedroom suite, complete with pillow top beds (for optimal “smushing,” natch), plasma TVs, kitchens and Kohler rain showers. And though the hotel decided to forego a “Jersey Shore” suite, you can still live it up and pump your fists in style with a stay at the Metropole Hotel South Beach.

W Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale: Real Housewives of Orange County
What was intended to be a “girls trip” turned out to be a girls + spouses trip, inciting alpha female Vicki Gunvalson’s ire. Sidenote: After this episode, we can totally picture Vicki as a defiant 6 year-old with a bedazzled dress, writing “No Boyz Allowed – They Got Cooties” on her treehouse door. We digress. Anyway, as the other housewives sailed off into the distance with their SOs on a romantic evening cruise, Vicki retreated to her room, tail between her Manolo Blahnik heels. Lest you find yourself actually sympathizing with her, consider that rooms at the W Fort Lauderdale are far from shabby retreats; beautiful, panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean are sure to alleviate any wounded egos, while the soothing earth tones, plush beds and luxurious bathrooms provide indulgent ways to steep in your own pity party.

One&Only Palmilla (Los Cabos): The Hills
When Spencer and Heidi “married” (which later turned out to be a publicity stunt by America’s reigning fame-hungry couple – and the irony of mentioning the Kardashians earlier in this post isn’t lost on us), they did it at this uber-luxe Cabo resort. Though it may have been one too many tequila shots that led to Speidi’s spontaneous elopement, it’s not hard to see how the resort could inspire such amorous actions. Rooms exude warmth and romance, matched only by the sparkle of the ocean and the glimmer of candles lit throughout the property at night. Even the most basic of rooms offer 24-hour butler service, an aromatherapy turndown menu, beautifully carved wood furniture, private terraces and flatscreen satellite TVs.
