Fashion Week is upon us, which mean the streets of New York will be teeming with models, designers and celebrities, and hotels will be packed (who wants to put money on the number of fake aliases being used at check-in?).
We wondered how Fashion Week would impact the cost of hotels and if it was even possible to lock down a three star or above hotel without breaking the bank. As it turns out, we found that the average cost of a three-star or above hotel for opening night is only $370 – yes, a little pricey but as far as New York hotel prices go, it could be a lot worse.
To show the wide range of hotel costs in New York during Fashion Week, we pulled pricing from nine different hotels to show the variety of pricing and why searching a site like Room 77 that pulls prices from many different sources can help travelers uncover the lowest hotel prices.
